上一篇 我找來了阿姆的新歌 "We Made You", 提到阿姆, 當然就不得不提到現在在美國當紅的 Asher Roth 囉!

Asher Roth是誰？他是一位最近在美國爆紅的白人饒舌歌手, 在美國有 Eminem 接班人稱號的 Asher Roth, 一開始呢, Asher Roth在網上發布了他的第一張個人混音帶《The Greeenhouse Effect Vol. 1》。這張Mixtape在網上傳播開來之後得到了樂迷們很高的評價，這也使得這位在當時還默默無聞的白人饒舌歌手開始得到業內人士的關注。與大多數沒有受過良好教育、在街頭長大的黑人Hip-Hop歌手相比，Asher Roth 真的可以説是還蠻"另類"的，因為他是為數不多接受過大學教育的一位饒舌歌手。作為第一位出現在DJ Drama混音帶中的白人饒舌歌手，Asher Roth被媒體熱炒。華爾街日報還對他作了個專訪!裡面 Asher Roth 談到了他對 Hip-Hop 以及 Eminem 的看法 "我跟 Eminem 有點不同，我覺得我做的是典型的白人音樂，我代表了那些住在郊區的中產階級白人，我寫的就是這些人的生活方式，現在的 Hip-Hop 太過商業化，Hip-Hop 雖然起源自黑人，但他是屬於全世界的，我一直受到 Hip-Hop 文化薰陶，突然有個 23歲的白人受到 Jay-Z 的影響，玩起 Hip-Hop 音樂，這難道是什麼壞事嗎?"

而這首 "I Love College"  只能說 Asher Roth 把美國大學生的心聲都唱出來了, 我本身也是在美國念書, 雖然不是大學生, 當然也沒玩過這麼多這麼high (殘念?! 囧)。不過多多少少能意會, 這整首歌真的很好笑!!
